"Directing Machined was a
dream for me, the cast took the performances way beyond the pages of the
script". "After shooting a movie like that, you wonder if it will ever
get that good again". Originally the script called for a very hot
desert, but Arizona was breaking records for constant rain through out
the entire shoot. "At first I was like oh shit! it's raining again but
sometime it's best to just go along with it, instead of trying to fight
with mother nature". "In pre-production of Machined I would go out there
to the location alone and make notes about the place, and this one time,
I was sitting in one of the rooms quietly writing away, when all of a
sudden a cat jumped out from nowhere and scurried between my legs, I
think I screamed like a little girl.
